I have given myself a million excuses for not eating right the last month and it has to STOP! I hate seeing the numbers on the scale right now. I have not stopped exercising. I started back at walking the day after surgery and still do it 5 days a week. Exercise isn't the problem it is FOOD! I can do this again but I remember how physically and psychologically painful it was the first time I started eating right that I just keep putting it off. Well I am not putting it off any longer. The big event I was in charge of is over so that stress is gone and my body is about 75% since the surgery so it's time to just do what I know I should be doing. With that said it's time to work-out them make my green smoothie.
I have two partially eaten cakes left over from the Blue and Gold hanging out in my kitchen. Any neighbors want to come eat a few pieces so that temptation leaves quickly? :-)

It won't be as hard this time. You have done it before and you know how to do it. You can get back on track.
ReplyDeleteThrow those cakes in the garbage or in the freezer. Ditto any chips or other junk, at least get it out of sight & smell. Cut up some nice fruits and vegetables so that they are handy for snacks or grazing. Maybe even get your favourite fruit, even though it is likely out of season right now, just so you can feel like you are spoiling yourself a bit.
Make sure you are drinking enough. Those green drinks are calling to you. You can do it!
Becky, I just had a couple of questions.
ReplyDelete1. Did you drink any diet soda's while losing weight?
2. Did you use anything like green tea supplements to help in the weight loss?
I don't use green tea but I know many people do while trying to drop weight. I just wondered if you did.
Thank you!
Throw it away. Until it is the absolute best calories EVER……then throw it away.
ReplyDeleteBrenda, I have never been a soda drinker so no soda for me and when I say no pills, or anything I mean it absolutely no supplements, or anything. I count calories and burn calories.

Hey Becky, I'm new to your journey. THanks for making this a public venture :) I'm doing something similar if you ever want a different spin on things.

Becky, Thanks for answering my questions. I am sooo happy to hear you didn't use the green tea stuff....I don't and won't use it and sometimes when I read about people who have lost weight many times they are using something like green tea suppliments. I then start feeling like I can't do it because I won't use those things. So I am so happy to see your answers. lol :) Thank You!
