First Morning Run of the Year


I could see my breath but it felt so good to do a quick 2 miles (averaged just under 10min/mile today).  In a couple weeks I’ll be back up to 4 miles.  I really need to get my body back into running shape!  My breathing is what I notice the most.

 I want it to feel effortless again.


  1. So that's 6 min/km. Faster than me, and I've been running all winter. I am down to 6:20 for some intervals, but that's pushing it pretty fast for me. My comfortable pace is 7 min/km, but 6mos ago I had to work really hard to get to 7 min/km, so I know I'm improving.

  2. Seriously you are so fast I know that is not what it is about but you really need to know how fast you are!!

  3. Hi Becky! Congratulations on your weight loss. You are such an inspiration. I need to be more active. Seeing your before and after pictures makes me really want to start exercising more. Wishing you the best!
