Getting my Self Control Back

Yesterday was a great day for self control.  I decided only fruit and veggies for breakfast and lunch then for dinner I'd include lean protein and whole grain.  I DID IT!  It was hard but I kept control over food and didn't let it control me.  Today I am baking and decorating tons of cupcakes for a charity race and an extended family birthday party.  6 dozen cupcakes to be exact! That is a lot of cake batter and delicious homemade frosting.  I WILL have control and NOT even taste it!  This is one one my biggest weaknesses but I need to be in CONTROL!!!  I can do HARD THINGS and for me this is a hard thing!!!

Now just to get my body healed from my fall on Monday so I can exercise again!

BTW I am down 1 1/2 pounds so far!!!

Breakfast /mid-morning snack  today                                           Lunch today.

Dinner tonight.

Guess what I WON!  I did not even lick one finger with cake batter or frosting and I baked and frosted 7 dozen cupcakes.  Yes, a victory!!!

  1. I'm trying to get my self control back too! I was sick AND ate what I wanted over Christmas break. Somehow I didn't gain, but I am sure I lost muscle because my body looks different. It would help if I'd go grocery shopping. I haven't gone yet and I got back home Monday. Goodness! Congrats on the 1.5 pounds down, I'm sure the rest will be gone in no time. The blog looks great! Happy New Year!

  2. I don't find it nearly as hard to abstain from *any* tastes of what I am cooking as to take one or two tastes and then stop.
